Under 18 girls 100m sprint final at the Canterbury Athletics Champs this afternoon. This is one frame of 4 showing these girls coming off their blocks in the start. I was disappointed not to see Millie turn up to defend her 1500m title today and has me concerned that since she was poached going to a new coach she is either injured or sick,even if her arm was cut off Millie would not miss a race. After watching her run in Christchurch 2 weeks ago, it left me angry to see how 16 months of training and working together her new coach has stuffed everything we have done. I hope she is sick and has not thrown in the towel which would be heart breaking.
