100 Years Of Bus Services - Out With The Old

Tomorrow this shiny new North Gate Bus Station , Northampton opens in place of what was once voted 'Britain's Ugliest Building' - Greyfriars Bus Station. Today a display of historical buses graced the new station, commemorating 100 years of bus services in the town. Before that, there were horse-drawn trams.

I like the lines of the roof and that the new building has been designed to be filled with light - so different from grey old Greyfriars.
