Piper and the Turtle

Attended a house warming party last evening for Amber and Justin who were married this past September. My friend Alan was there with his daughter Piper who politely asked Justin if she could pet their turtle. Permission was granted and the turtle was retrieved from her tank. It was a nice moment to see daughter and dad engaged in turtle talk.

The photograph was taken handheld at 1/15th of a second, did not nail the focus and some blur, but enjoyed the image so it became the blip of the day.
