I'm so predictable

It's Saturday so it's "the bird hide behind our local farm shop day".

This cheeky little chappy is a male chaffinch.

There was not a lot to be seen there today - I don't know why, because the weather was gorgeous. There were 3 squirrels and three pheasants, a robin and this chaffinch. Evidently the chaffinch is the UK's commonest finch.

At least he's pretty.
