Town Crier

On my way back from teaching in the Writers' Centre in Parnell Square I thought I'd divert into Henry Street and float among the crowds for awhile. Nothing much doing till I saw this bloke, a town crier proclaiming what most town criers proclaim these days, that all is far from well, doom imminent, etc. He didn't look happy so I didn't try to shoot from the hip but asked him if he'd mind me photographing him and his message. He agreed but covered his face, which was fine by me.
