Took this tonight on the way home with my new Canon Prime Lens 28mm f1.8.

Situated to the west of Aberdeen, but within the City limits, the Bieldside Inn offers various areas of relaxation and dining space to suit your mood. During the warmer months the restaurant expands on to the balcony for an inside/outside dining experience.

"The Bielder" as it is locally known, has built and maintained a reputation for high levels of service and delicious, quality food menus.

Bieldside is a suburb to the west of Aberdeen, Scotland; together with its neighboring village of Cults is the wealthiest area in Scotland. It has one pub/restaurant The Bieldside, (above) a food store, a hairdresser, a Teashop and a charity shop.

The Old Deeside railway line (now the Deeside Way) passes through Bieldside and Queen Victoria would often stop at Bieldside on her regular journeys between her summer retreat at Balmoral and the city centre.

Ruth Roche, Baroness Fermoy was born in Bieldside. The Baroness was Lady Diana, Princess of Wales's maternal grandmother. Bieldside therefore has some of the wealthiest people in the United Kingdom in its residence, and habits the most millionaires per postcode outside London (222 at last count). Notably prominent oil billionaire, Sir Ian Wood, Stewart Milne, a construction group owner, worth £400 million and oil company owners Ian Suttie, Bob Keiller, Duncan Skinner who all occupy high places in the Sunday Times Rich List, worth over £50 million. Also the former UK Open winner.

The area was also where Alex Ferguson lived whilst being the Aberdeen Football Club manager, before heading for Manchester United.
