A WW1 Teapot

Something of an emergency blip again as my best laid plans to get out were thwarted.

This old teapot, in immaculate condition, was inherited from my parents house. There's a piece of paper inside in I think my mother's hand which says:

Last Present Uncle Ernest bought for Grandma Crane during the 1914-1918 war. Then he got killed just before the end of the war..

This could have been the great grandmother who I do remember vaguely visiting for tea when I was 5 or 6, (we had tinned salmon) but beyond that unfortunately I know nothing.
