Field of Light

Spent most of the day in Edinburgh today with friends. Firstly a very long lunch in Centotre - delicious, then a wander along to Cafe Royal - my first visit in years! Next a walk through the 'Field of Light' which was lovely and calming and despite all the cables, very impressive. I love that someone came up with that idea!

Next stop, The Dome (fabulous chandelier!) for bacon sandwiches and coffee and then the train home!

A great day in some very grand buildings in a really beautiful city.

I really must visit more.
