A Bit Too Close !!!

This is a Blue Tongue Lizard, or commonly known as a BobTail. They get this name, because their tails are bobbed, really short.
These things absolutely LOVE Strawberries and will always find them munching away in a patch in summer. This little fella was out in the backyard and I hadn't seen one for a while so I thought I would snap a shot.

I forgot how quick they are, and what sort if grip they have if they latch on (we use to move them by the end of a broomstick handle.
They latch on and don't let go) and he shocked me a couple of times, but eventually got him with his tongue out. The other shot is looking down his throat, as he hissed at me lol
