Giant Sulcata Tortoise

We brought our soon to be grandson to the Science Factory in Eugene this afternoon.

A children’s science museum with all sorts of hands on stuff for kids to do.

This weekend features a creepy, crawly collection of reptiles and amphibians to look at and to hold.

A Sulcata Tortoise weighing about 100 lbs. was certainly a big hit with the kids (and me).

He is a much loved tortoise and has a very good home at the science factory.
