The Joy

Harisen and William did the 200km + trip to the Karonga area, near the Tanzanian border again today to finish off the pump installation.
They left before daybreak and arrived back just before midnight. It rained most of the way, but was dry and very hot when they arrived.

Harisen's only comment:
The villagers were all very happy to have clean water in their areas
and I'm sure the were.
Harisen will have a GPS location on all wells added to the well digging log, which shows the depth of the well, and the depth of water on the date. We hope to do a little research on Climate/Water Table change over the years!

This venture is being undertaken in conjunction with Global Concern and Every Home for Christ. It is part of an order for 200 pumps. The next batch will be exported to Zambia.

Well done guys. At least another 100 villagers with clean water!
(I was there 10 days ago and the temperature got to 47 celsius at one stage)
