Carnival

I had a bit of an upset tummy this morning. Didn't eat much today, but will make up tomorrow.

Went on a half day levada walk. Beautiful.

It was carnival tonight. Loads of people, especially kids in costumes - the best must be the pirate with the dummy. He was only about 18 months old. We walked 40 minutes into old town, had a roll & a beer to have a rest. Went down to the carnival route, waited an hour before it started and another hour before it reached us. By then nothing would have impressed us.

I took a few photos of the carnival, but most have a head or some other body part in the way. The blip is of the golfer outside the Hole in One pub, getting into the carnival spirit.

Both of us forgot that it was our anniversary today. I only remembered when I saw people on facebook wishing each other a happpy St David's day.

Will sleep well tonight.
