CURVACEOUS

A peaceful contrast with what happened about 10 minutes earlier when a fox snatched a mallard drake from under our noses at one of the hides at RSPB Saltholme. Talk about stealth! There was absolutely no warning, and nobody saw it until it happened far too fast for a photo. Then there was the most tremendous kerfuffle amongst all the other birds on the water but by then the fox (or vixen, probably) had disappeared taking her dinner with her.
