The wrecked West Pier in Brighton.

To Brighton today for daughter's birthday brunch. The seafront café would have had a rather good view of the pier had it not been for seafront construction work. The pier will not be repaired. Instead there are plans for the i360 which is, I suppose, a vertical equivalent. Opinions vary as to whether this will happen - cost £46m.
