Snowdrops

The weather is still so grey and I'm starting to feel quite sick of it. Still, the show must go on so we had a potter around one of our local green spaces. Or should I say, local muddy and grey spaces.

Raphie, once he got going, enjoyed catching imaginary fish which daddy put in his pocket for tea and we threw sticks into the water together while Atticus slept.

Raphie's sitting surrounded by snowdrops and, weirdly for March, wild garlic which was really strong smelling.

We kept wondering whether he'd slip into the water and had already mentally planned what we could warm him up with if he did.

I remember standing in almost the same spot a decade or more ago with his big brother wondering exactly the same thing.
