Size twelves!

After the beautiful weather over the last few days today was a shocker!

After church, Darling Daughter, Son 1, Ziggy the dog & my best friend caught the bus into Derbyshire to Fox House, a hostelry..

We walked back towards Sheffield over sodden moors in driving rain. .Stopped off at Whirlow Farm Cafe for delicious hot chocolate with all the trimmings plus slabs of cake. We arrived home soaked, full of calories and happy. Walking always makes me feel better. But all no good for photography - so here as a reminder of the day are son 1's enormous size twelves!

Then set out to Edale to collect Son 2 from church youth weekend away & his 3 friends. Such great teenage boys - privilege to hear them chat on way home.

Family all together again for first time in few days. Half term over :(
