Aquamarine/Nanna K's Day

NO it’s not a mono photo. It's real. The snow from last night has almost disappeared with the constant cold rain today. On a little walk, this was taken at the end of our bay looking North-ish. All those black blobs are harbour seals who were having a happy convention here...

The tree guy who was supposed to come fell a tree tomorrow can’t come due to sickness, but it’s a nasty day anyway. Will reschedule. (Phew, I don’t have to think about carting more branches around tomorrow.)

Good day to read a book. I loved Ruth Ozeki’s Tale for the Time Being, set on an island north of here, same landscape as above. It involves finding a diary washed up on this west coast beach after the Fukushima tsunami, the story of the young girl who wrote it and her Japanese family, an old zen buddist nun, and some of Ruth’s own memoir mixed in with a big dose of quantum physics. Plausable and not at the same time.
