I wanted some new Converse trainers and although I've been wearing Converse semi-religiously since 1996 they seem to have suddenly gone all popular and expensive and you don't appear to be able to get them anywhere for under £40.

I assumed the cheapest way to get some new ones would be for Cyclops to collect some for me in the USA. After substantial searching I realised the price was up there too but I eventually found some for $40, only for the delivery estimate to be quoted as an unhelpfully vague '5 to 15 days'.

Back to the drawing board. I got them in a shop in Edinburgh. For £35. Sorted.
