Loch Creran

The fast jet boat that brings workers out to the incredible Glensanda site is responsible for both yesterday's and today's ripples. The boat in the picture (and doubtless a few other blips) also runs back and forth to the quarry.

The jet boat also made us almost fall out of the bed in the boat on a flat calm August morning. It has quite a wake.

Home via a walk in a gorgeous Benmore Botanic Gardens and the ferry from Dunoon. Wildlife count high, including a woodpecker ironically hammering a woodpecker box and the first red squirrel in ages.
