What a beautiful day.

The light was particularly good for photography and despite the odd protestation from Jet, I stopped to snap all the new growth in the wood.

This shot just caught my eye as I walked down the hawthorn hedge between two fields just off the main path - much to the consternation of some walkers trying to find their way back to Pickering.

Richard thought it looked owl like - I on the other hand thought of Tree Beard.
