I remember seeing Victorian photographs of adult people leaping and jumping. They were fascinated with this unbelievable magic. Gradually though, we have adapted and our perception collectively has altered : now it is hardly remarkable at all.

I wonder what is the present day magic equivalent of the leaping woman?
