Busy…..

..day for Prune today.
Foal put in field with Fute.
Mum left in barn!
Gave her a good grooming as she had spent the day in the field on Sunday and rolled and rolled!

Laura tacked her up and took her for a poddle round the house.
It is at least three years since she has been ridden.

Just like riding a bike. It all came back to her.
She was so good.
Dou Dou came in from the field, filthy. She had been practising to be a racehorse with Fute (30) standing in the middle with such an expression on his face.
'When did I get to become a nanny?'

Untacked Prune and fetched the others in. 'Thank goodness !'said Fute!

Then after lunch the blacksmith came to give Prune a pedicure.

Dou Dou had a small one as well. She finds standing on three legs a little difficult due to lack of practice/balance. She was very good though.

Dou Dou has not been groomed as we are off out early tomorrow morning and they are going out in the field all day.
