Quintillions of stuff

I’ve spent the day wondering what stuff there is in the world that can be counted in quintillions (Originally: the cardinal number equal to the fifth power of a million, represented by 1 followed by thirty zeros … (now chiefly Brit.). Later also (orig. U.S.): the cardinal number equal to the sixth power of a thousand, or 1 followed by eighteen zeros …’, OED) and I think I’ve captured some of them in today’s pic: Matchsticks, footsteps and dead polystyrene coffee cups. According to the examples of usage given by the OED, we can also add insects, microbes and locusts to this list, although none of these were visible along the King’s Road today, therefore they do not feature.

Day #63 of a 365 project, where the daily pic is informed by the OED word of the day.
