Carn Dearg & Carn on Tionail

When we got up this morning a very different day from yesterday. It was raining so The Crofter decided we needed to get dosing for the sheep and look for some hay as we have run out. We went off down to Bonar Bridge to the Country store but he doesn't have dosing stuff but we asked him about hay and he phoned someone but they were out we were then sent another farm but he wasn't there and we would find him done in the Butcher's shop in Bonar Bridge but it was closed for lunch so I went up to the Art Shop and had a good look round and bought a few things then we went to another farm but he had no hay either so we decided just to go to Tain and as we were driving along the road at Ardgay a truck past us with a trailer ful of hay bales so we turned round and went on pursuit and eventually caught up with him but stopping him was another thing so we overtook him and went into a layby and I jumped out but he flew past before I could wave him down, back in the car and after him again and into another layby and I managed to wave him down to ask him about the hay. He was a very nicer chap and actually offered us the hay on the trailer but when we had a good look at it some of it was last years and a bit dry and the sheep wouldn't eat it and he agreed but he very kindly said that he would phone around and see if he could get some for us. We had a right laugh as he thought he was being chased by some boy racers and this young female was flagging him down. What a let down when he saw this old hag. We all had a good laugh.
As we were coming along the Lairg road the sun was shining brightly and we had a lovely blue sky.
What a day!
