The Sistine Chapel.........

My image today was taken within the Raphael section of museums inside the Vatican.
My visit to the Vatican museums can only be compared to a police "Kettling" operation. Hundreds of tourists, mostly chinese, all shoulder to shoulder for a two hour shuffle through various museums until we reached the rather under whelming Sistine Chapel.
I may of course just being negative, because of being bundled along with the other visitors. Once inside the Sistine Chapel, if the crowds weren't enough, the security guards continuously barging through to ensure no one was taking photographs, was just one step too far. Oh and the continuous SSHHHH coming over the chapels speaker system, reminding us all that this was a place of worship, and no one was to speak......
Frankly too hacked off to really appreciate the beautiful artwork.
Nope, sorry didn't enjoy it at all.
