"Precautions ---After the Crash"

If you have to have a crash our advice would be choose a fire engine to give you the bump.--- Difficult junction and it was the fire engine's right of way but we met with nothing but kindness, courtesy and skill. The dog and I were fine so was nearest and dearest but the roof was cut off and he was lifted out with a brace on just in case the jolt had caused any damage to his neck. Everyone was just wonderful -police, paramedics, neighbours [who came to help and made coffee for the firemen and looked after me].
