None shall Pass

Another day at the museum. When I wasn't cleaning the glass of display cases inside and out, or waiting for something to happen, I reorganised a box of papers.

Among them were several identity cards from WWII. It is not generally known, or has been forgotten, that during the War one needed a pass to get in and out of the area. If you're really keen to find out what happened in Caithness during the War, visit http://highlandarchives.org.uk/caithness-at-war.asp?id=2.

I believe the red item at the bottom is a ration book.
