Hairy Woodpecker

I stayed at a hotel near work the last two nights so that our team could provide coverage during the latest snow storm. When I got home this afternoon, the sun shining and the birds were out in full force gobbling up the food we left in the front yard.

I was prepared to blip another beautiful Cardinal when this Hairy Woodpecker showed up. He allowed three quick photos and took off...

I'm going to feed the two dogs, get into comfy clothes and go snuggle under a blanket and watch some TV.
