Roamin'

A perfect day, crisp and bright: ideal for walking round the city. The kids enjoy the sightseeing, but they are probably as delighted by travelling on a tram as they are by ruined temples.

Later in the day, when they're both worn out, I end up carrying Andy on my shoulders. After a while, I realise he's actually fallen asleep, with his chin bouncing bonily off the top of my head!

It's around this time, wandering round the streets of Rome, that Matt tells Mo he's been there before. She tells him that he hasn't, but he insists that he dreams of this place: "not my skin - my skin just dreams about stuff like trains - but in my bones. My bones dream of this place."

Most strange!
