Holy crap but they're complicated and finicky.

I've spent probably the equivalent of three whole days going over and back over and back over these many many many sheets of paper.

This in aid of an upcoming 10 week trip with two friends, driving from Wiltshire, UK to Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia via France, Belgium, Germany, The Czech Republic, Austria, Slovakia, Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, Turkey, Georgia, Armenia, Iran, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Tajikistan GBAO, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan and Russia, and back via Russia again, Ukraine, Belarus, Poland, Slovakia, Hungary, Austria, Germany, and potentially Sweden and Norway, but more likely back through Netherlands, Belgium and France again.

24-27 countries, ~10 weeks, ~20,000 miles.

It's going to be a bit of an epic adventure.
