After Pancake Tuesday comes Ash Wednesday

It was a busy day. I was involved in 3 Ash Wednesday services. To school kids, parishioners and folk in a retirement home. Each was individual, yet wonderful.

We gave my friend Ted a fine send off at his funeral. It was lovely, appropriate and only a few fat tears escaped down my cheeks. Phew!
I missed the 7pm service and went back to being a mum instead.
