Dark red tulips

These tulips have been in a vase in our sitting room for almost two weeks now, my daughter in law Yvonne gave them to me. Wednesday is the day when I do any housekeeping that's going to get done and today that included cleaning out a few vases that had dead or dying flowers in them. I was struck by how beautiful these tulips looked with the petals peeled right back now.
