PINK!!!

I had the pleasure of spending some time with one of my Godchildren today. Lily. We decided to go to the Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum and take Lily with us. We picked up the bus along Dumbarton Road and arrived armed with a packed lunch for Amélie, Lily and myself. We also had drawing materials, pens and paper.

After wandering around the museum and paintings we stopped in the Dutch Impressionists room and had some sandwiches and snacks (I found out later, after seeing a sign, that food was strictly forbidden). Who cares, we had fun and didn't cause any trouble.

We watched the organ recital and then made our way to the nearby Kelvingrove Park, where we had crisps, fed the birds and played on swings and other brightly coloured metal objects. . .

It was time to go home, so we headed for the bus. . The highlight of Lily's trip was the bus journeys, made even better by the fact that we had strawberries for the trip home and I knew the bus driver - so it was waves all round.

What a wonderful way to spend an afternoon. . . with a couple of fantastic, fun and colourful little people.
