Sledging fun

Today we were invited to go sledging - so into the car we jumped and headed up to Cairngorm mountain.

We stopped at a pub in Aviemore for a quick bite of lunch, where the boys ran around like crazy after the long car journey. Then it was time to head up the mountain.

As we got the boys into their snow gear, hats, gloves, and boots, their excitement grew. It wasn't long before we were rushing up to the snow covered hill! And, predictably, they loved it!

CJ would grab onto S2 legs, holding tight as the whizzed down the hill. Then pointing back up the hill for more. Once S2 had pulled him back to the top of the hill, he would sit there rocking back and forward trying to get the sledge to go!

After the boys started getting a little cold, we headed to the main ski field for a quick cuppa, before doing another few slides. Unfortunately, the wind started to pick up and it meant poor CJ got cold very quickly, although he kept going until he was totally exhausted and cold!

So we got him out of the snow gear and wrapped him up warmly in his car seat form the journey home!
