Purbeck: Kingston village seen from Corfe Common

This photo was taken early in the morning, as a cloud bank swept in from the south-west and the sun, still low in the sky to the south-east, saturated the landscape with red.

Dominating the skyline is the Church of St James, built during the 1870s in Gothic revival style.
