Towers upon towers

I left London this morning - walking past the Houses of Parliament I liked the way the sun caught the ridiculous extravagance of the Clock Tower (Big Ben). We waited for the 9 o’clock chimes (bongs) then walked up to Victoria to get the bus to Oxford. I’ve had a great few days with A and we managed to cross a few things off her bucket list (as was the plan).
Glad to be home but sad we haven’t brought the sunshine back with us. Apparently it’s overcast in London now too but I stick to the golden sunshine image.
Now to tighten my belt in terms of food as well as financial for a while!
