Back to reality

Work and domestic chores. Still it was good that the towels went out on the whirly thing and not in the tumbly thing. No rain on Skye? Some mistake surely?
Jane worked the garden to activity all day. All the plants had obviously been asleep in their lazy beds. All growing with all their might now though. Oy! That pea there. Stand up! Thats better - now you're a sweet pea :) My love hate relationship with Skye is unabated.
Oh! the Edinburgh drama. We were a whisker away from landing at Embra (just at that bit where the ground goes hurtling past) when the engines went into FULL throttle and we whizzed back into the air. The pilot said that the landing was 'rejected' (their's a nice euphemism) because there was another plane on the runway. Where the f@*k did THAT come from? Lots of tension and people holding hands tightly. After we landed everybody just got off the plane. If it had been full of Italians instead of Brits there would have been wild applause. I asked the pilot if she was OK and she said yes but she was definitely a bit bright and hyper. She did a good job though.
