Come Into My Parlour.

A colleague at work plucked this little fellow from their air as he descended into harm's way in our mess room; he proved quite tricky to photograph as he lived up to his name, leaping away in a blink of an eye to a distance many times his body length!

A member of a species of jumping spider - possibly Heliophanus flavipes - this chap appears to be not that common around these parts, although they have apparently been found around the north-east of Scotland but far more common along the coastlines of the Home Counties, so it may be quite an unusual find.
