Forest walking

Blairadam Forest was soggy today, dripping and waterlogged. Plenty of mud for the children to splash about in and an infinite amount of sticks to be used in a multitude of games. Who needs toys when there are sticks? Milk and a biscuit on a damp bench then off up the slope to discover.....who knows what? Friends made, ditches conquered, witches spotted in treetops - this is REAL learning. And so much fun!
