high drama round our bit today. a tanker came to empty the septic tank, AND a rubbish truck came to empty our bins (rubbish trucks are high up on the list of laurie's favourite vehicles) at the same time creating a virtual traffic jam outside our door. the excitement was almost too much to bear.
