Usher Hall

As I passed the UsherHall I thought it was looking rather good with its purple floodlighting.I then noticed that there was a 100th birthday concert scheduled for this evening. On checking later I discovered that today was indeed the 100th anniversary (to the day) of the opening of this fine auditorium. So an apt and fortuitous blip!
We were not at the concert but attending the Lyceum Theatre "round the corner" to see a lively and witty performance of "Private Lives" by Noel Coward - a very entertaining evening.
