The Great Equation

Today, one of our instructors was "away from keyboard." Nevertheless, we still were able to remain productive and fairly distracted with Spring Break approaching in one more day. We each did a casual presentation of the responsibilities we were assigned on Tuesday. Afterwards, we each worked on various tasks that involved cold calls, organization/cleaning, and a healthy dose of calculations.

I was working with another student to determine the correct amount of material to order based on the length of our gabion wall. A discussion spawned between this student and the other instructor on the concept of the original formula and a more understandable version. Basically, a "complex" formula and a "simple" formula were the same thing, but they were not because one added a "1" and the other eventually subtracted a "l" to reach a difference of "2." The greater number was settle upon to counteract any future construction errors. Nevertheless, it was not that bad of a day.
