WANT MY PIC MATE.......

... after living here for 40 years and finding this new little wetlands near home yesterday, decided to venture back to see if I could catch that dragonfly sitting on the water!! Dave, our "bug" expert tells me that's the shot to get... so off we try!!

Sadly, not much action on the dragonfly front (that's for later) but heaps of other choices?

In the end, our little male fairy wren was my choice. Sitting here posing for me (which is really rare) surprisingly, as they are normally darting everywhere!
