Contemplating the Nature of Things

The mall where my husband and I live did some renovating which included the nature design behind his head. I wonder if the artist intentionally made it look like a question mark?

About the mall: it's our home during the day. It's warm,dry, and has free wifi. We bring something with us to eat so we're not tempted to buy food in the food court. There are others of our neighbors here, too. We've been homeless so long we can recognize when someone else is homeless, too.
