After the storm

This is sadly our final day in the highlands until Autumn.
We were out early on Gairloch beach with the dogs, to avoid other dog walkers. Unfortunately, a lady with two dogs off leads approached and Fionne pulled me flat on my face to get to the dogs.
Luckily the sand cushioned my fall and I managed to keep hold of the lead. Not easy with an exuberant 10 month old deerhound puppy on the other end!
We made it back to the car just before the hail storms started and the rest of the day has been spent packing and watching the storms.
I shall miss this view and the ever changing weather :-(
