A Turn Up For The Books

Andy Robinson would appear to have galvanised Scotland into a rather formidable defensive unit, which was really what was needed before then trying to expand the team's ambit. and by eck it paid off rather marvellously again Australia today.

The only thing that took a slight shine of it for me was when Giteau was attempting the conversion that would have won the match for Oz. Scotland believes itself to have something of a reputation for fair play and sportsmanship with the best fans in the world. The booing that accompanied Giteau's kick was a slur on that good name, as was the booing when Australia first ran out onto the pitch. Small-minded petty reactionary peer-followed nonsense. If you were one of the people there and booing, then I hope you're proud of yourself. At least the team didn't match your childish behaviour.
