'It's Cut..........'!!!

And it is RED and it is gorgeous.........!
One 'wee' problem 'tho and I wonder if anyone who's made it knows why?????
The icing didn't 'set'............!
I did everything it said on the recipe.....and it said it would set 'quickly' to a 'crisp shell' on the outside and a 'gooey meringue' on the inside....so ice it fast....
I did.......but today when S cut it the icing is still completely soft....!
but it tastes 'divine'.....!
It's not for no reason that apparently it's known as the 'Dolly Parton' of cakes - rich and tacky, but much loved all the same!
I know I'll definitely be making it again and will have to experiment with this different icing..........!
