Return to the garden

After Tuesday's planting thrills, we returned to Sue's garden today to install a bee house for the Mason Bees and to do a little cleanup, watering, and weeding. But what really got Bella's attention was the slide in Sue's rhododendron glade. Sue had us laughing till we couldn't breathe with a brilliant bit of buffoonery and physical comedy while "helping" Bella down the slide. Sue often reminds me of Jacques Tati. She did end up coming down the slide herself repeatedly, in several different postures. I'm still laughing every time I think of it.
