Aladdin's Cave

A long day that began about half past eleven last night with a distraught phone call from daughter to say that she could not register for her long awaited 3 week trip to New Zealand. She had tried everything bit she couldn't register, therefore couldn't fly, no solution. Said her info said she should have done this 72 hours ago. Serious stress in out house. J on computer, eventually calmness gave a result. All resolved by around half twelve. Woke early. Pleasant breakfast. Off to carpet shop to buy new carpet for dining room. Returned. Help guy carry our old sideboard to his van, courtesy of Freegle. Daughter for lunch and then to airport. Off to curtain Agency to look at curtains. It is an amazing small cottage cascading in curtains, some pre-used, others new. An Aladdin's cave of colour. There was no choice as far a today's blip is concerned. A part of today's life!
