Where's my dinner?

Raoul is very animated today. He's probably feeling hungry. Today is when he's due for another feed. His last meal was two weeks ago, and his next one is nearly ready, gently thawing in a dish on top of the vivarium.

He's usually very bright eyed, but his shiny-red eyes are just starting to look very slightly duller, which probably means that he is approaching the time for shedding his skin. He hasn't done so yet since we adopted him, but I know that a snake's eyes are said to go milky near shedding time, so I have freshly topped up his water to ensure he has ample access to moisture to aid the process.
